I really like watching Hells Kitchen. Chef Gordon Ramsey makes me laugh, though personally I have a BIG problem with him cheating on his wife. But nevertheless Hells Kitchen makes for good programming. That said, check out this little F*#(er, here....

So, I'm trying to get back into the loves of my youth... reconnect to the things that gave me uncomplicated joy.

I love food and at one time in my life I was serious about going to culinary school.
In my quest to find joy, I came across this video of the Mrs. Michelle Obama (she makes me happy too) and the White House Chefs. And they're looking for assistants!!!

I saw Dr. Cornel West, yesterday. I absolutely love being around (in the presence of) brilliant people. There is no greater rush. He spoke about so many things including: HipHop, Emmett Till, Pres. Barack Obama, Homosexuality, Being/avoiding cowardliness, and being white and down for the cause. Throughout which, he quoted biblical scriptures, Plato, James Baldwin, and Anton Chekov. How awesome is that!



I want to make it a point to go to more inspirational, motivational, and thought provoking speeches this year. This made me happy.
