It's hard to explain... but I recently returned to where I left, and I feel like such an outsider. I still know my way around, for the most part and I have lots of friends, but there is so much that is different.
I'm so grateful to have so many friends to want and request to hang out with me on my return. It's so enlightening in so many ways. I find myself wondering about those on the sidelines thinking that I should be welcoming them, into the city in which they already live, but whatever.

Tornado Shelter
This was so right up my alley....
There was a Tornado Watch in my area last Tuesday. News meteorologist on TV none stop during the Tornado Watch portion. At one point they said look out for 'Softball-sized' hail. Shortly after, the sirens alarmed. This means that the Tornado Watch has turned into a Tornado Warning... you are to seek shelter immediately.

One of my favs
I have to remember this passage...I often forget.
Psalm 27
The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?....
It's good to know/ to feel that someone is on your side, especially when it looks like you are all alone.
